1) Inter-institutional and Intra-institutional Horizontal Transfers for Associate Degree Programmes Based on Academic Average

Application and Assessment Timetable

Application Dates: 13 July 2026–16 July 2026

Date of Results Announcement: 20 July 2026 (You can track the results via the lateral transfer application module.)

Final Enrolment Dates: 21 July 2026 – 22 July 2026

Reserve Enrolment Dates: Will commence on 24 July 2026. (Reserve candidates will be announced up to the quota.)

Documents required for application:

  1. Student ID
  2. Academic Transcript
  3. Certificate confirming no disciplinary penalties
  4. ÖSYS placement results certificate (document showing the score with which the student was admitted to their current university)
  5. Certificate confirming they are within the top 10 per cent (for those applying from part-time to full-time programmes)

Note 1: Applications must be made online.

The student bears full responsibility for any incorrect or inaccurate statements made during the application process. For grade conversions, the conversion tables determined by the Higher Education Executive Board shall be used.

2) Lateral Transfer via the Central Placement Score (Annex 1)

Application dates: 1 August 2026–15 August 2026

Date of notification of results: 21 August 2026 (You can check the results via the lateral transfer application module.)

Final Enrolment Dates: 24 August 2026 – 25 August 2026

Reserve Enrolment Dates: Will commence on 27 August 2026. (Reserve candidates will be announced up to the available quota.)

PROGRAMMES ACCEPTING STUDENTS

ASSOCIATE DEGREE PROGRAMMES

Students currently enrolled at higher education institutions – including those in foundation year, intermediate years and final year – who wish to transfer using the central placement threshold score and have not previously benefited from this provision may apply ONLINE with the documents specified below.

As set out in the Student Selection and Placement System Guide for Higher Education Programmes and Quotas (ÖSYS), the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) Guide, and the Special Aptitude Examination (ÖZYES) Guide;

  1. Candidates who have enrolled at higher education institutions in Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus through centralised placement or on the basis of their ÖSYS/YKS/ÖZYES score for the relevant year and via a special aptitude examination, and
  2. candidates who have been placed by the ÖSYM through centralised placement and have enrolled at higher education institutions abroad,
  3. candidates who have enrolled at other higher education institutions abroad not listed in the ÖSYS/YKS/ÖZYES Guide, or who have enrolled in a programme not listed in the Guide even if the higher education institution is listed therein, are not eligible to apply, (Candidates who have been placed in a higher education programme listed in the Student Selection and Placement System Guide for Higher Education Programmes and Quotas using their ÖSYS/YKS/ÖZYES score, but who, without enrolling, have commenced their studies at other higher education institutions abroad at their own expense, or who, having sat the ÖSYS/YKS/ÖZYES but without selecting any higher education programme, have commenced their studies at higher education institutions abroad at their own expense and hold student status, are not eligible to apply under the provisions of the aforementioned article)

  1. Student ID
  2. ÖSYS examination results certificate (a document showing the marks obtained in the examination taken in the year of university admission)
