Accreditation Notice

As the Office Services and Secretarial Studies Department, we have adopted as our fundamental principle the continuous improvement of our educational quality and providing our students with an education equipped with the knowledge and skills required by the modern era. In this context, we attach great importance to the accreditation process in order to ensure the quality assurance of our programme and increase its recognition at national and international levels.

The outcomes of our Office Management and Executive Assistantship Programme, our lesson plans and teaching activities are organised in accordance with the criteria of relevant quality organisations, primarily the Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Board (MEDEK).

In this process, student satisfaction, graduate competencies, labour market needs, and a continuous improvement approach are fundamental; our quality management system is implemented with a transparent and participatory approach.

The accreditation process is not merely a process of obtaining a certificate, but also a strategic area of development that ensures the quality of our education and teaching activities and enables our graduates to become more competent and competitive individuals nationally and internationally.

In this regard, we continue to improve the areas open to development while maintaining the strengths of our programme; we value the contributions and participation of all our stakeholders.

What is MEDEK?

MEDEK stands for the Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Association. The association was established in 2021.

In 2023, the association was granted accreditation authority by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) for 83 vocational college programmes to ensure that these programmes comply with established standards, quality criteria, and performance measures.

As of 2025, the Association holds accreditation authority for 111 Vocational School programmes.

MEDEK Mission;

To contribute to the improvement of education and teaching quality by providing information, external evaluation and accreditation services for associate degree programmes.

MEDEK Vision;

To be a pioneering organisation that defines the educational and research activities/administrative processes of associate degree programmes and the quality of intermediate human resources in line with national and international standards, and certifies quality by sharing the results with relevant institutions and organisations.

MEDEK's Purpose;

To pioneer the training of professional personnel who follow professional developments, can respond to changing labour force needs, possess high professional skills and equipment, are innovative and socially responsible, can take initiative, and possess the qualities sought by the relevant sector.
